This My Peeps Music episode will be in a radio style setting where I play music from Independent Artists from around the world. Season 2 Episode 19: Kevin Makely

In this Episode I speak with actor Kevin Makely! Kindred Spirits...that's the best way I can sum up this episode! I was so excited to speak with Kevin as I am a big fan of his and he did not disappoint. its one thing to get to hear someones story and to be allowed to share it with my listeners but its a whole other thing when you feel that you make a friendship as well and that's exactly what this episode was to me. Kevin is the star of 'Big Legend' and 'Any Bullet Will Do'. I love both movies and im so thankful Kevin took the time to speak about them both. We spoke about what inspired the movie Big Legend and also working with legendary actors as well. We also talk about working with his costar/friend Todd A. Robinson and also friend/director Justin Lee. You can hear Kevins passion and love for movies throughout the entire conversation. Kevin also takes on my Questions of Torture and Awesomeness!   In this Episode I have the honor of speaking to James Jude Courtney who is playing Michael Myers in Halloween(2018). This was such a fun episode and Im so thankful James took the time to speak with me. We spoke about so many cool things....from his first movie 'The Freeway Maniac(1989)' and how it prepared him for playing Michael Myers all of these years later and the crazy similarities in Arthur(his character from Freeway Maniac)and Michael Myers! We also speak about how he got the opportunity to play Michael Myers,working with the legendary Jamie Lee Curtis,meeting and working with the original The Shape Nick Castle and making a new friendship with him,putting on that iconic mask for the 1st time,being a part of the Halloween legacy now,and so much more! In this Episode I speak with Artist,Parkour athlete,Actor,and Stuntman Brian Alexander Prince! Brian is the fugitive Predator in the movie 'The Predator'! Im so thankful Brian took the time to speak with me and share some of his stories. Brian spoke about his passion for Art and Illustrating,some of his favorite artists at the moment,working on his own graphic novel and more! We also talk about his passion for Parkour and how it changed his life and what it means to him and how he has applied the mental part of it in his life as well. We spoke about so many things...from him winning an Emmy Award,early comedic influences,his earlier experiences in stand up comedy and finding his voice in it,dealing with writers block,his 1st years at Conan and even how they originally met,writing his 1st book,and so much more. In this Episode I speak with Street Artist,Cee Pil! I seen Cee Pil's amazing artwork on Vero True Social and I immediately became a fan! Cee lives in Belgium and has only been doing Street art for 6 years but has been doing art most of his life. His talent is unquestioned with amazing artwork of Animals mixed with animals,humans,and even machines! We talk about the community of street art and how competitive and also supportive it is. We also talk about the importance of being an artist and using social media and the effects and benefits of using it. Cee and I talk about so much more and I know you will enjoy hearing this as much as I enjoyed speaking with him. In this Episode I speak with the amazing and talented actress,Diane Franklin! This was such a fun and energetic conversation from beginning to end! Diane was such a fun and kind person to speak with and it was so great hearing stories from her career as well as just being an actress in general. We spoke about the iconic 80s movies she was apart of(Better off Dead,The Last American Virgin,Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure)and what she has been working on recently and it was also fun hearing about some other little known facts about her career. She also took on my Questions of Torture and Awesomeness and she found out why they can be just as much torture questions as awesome questions(insert evil laugh here). In this Episode I speak with the very talented singer/songwriter,Cameron Douglas! I found Cameron's music through the SoFar series on Youtube and his song 'That Cigarette' grabbed my attention immediately. It was great getting to know Cameron and hearing about how he got into music,his first time writing a song,performing Live and why he enjoys it,musical influences and so much more! Season 2 Episode 11: Julian Lee

In this Episode I speak with Composer,Julian Lee! You have heard his music in trailers such as Deadpool 2,War for the Planet of the Apes, and The Black Panther to just name a few! Julian was such a pleasure to speak with. This guy is super talented,humble,and just genuinely a nice guy! It was so cool hearing him talk about how he got into music and also learning that he didnt even like music at first! It was great hearing about what first inspired him to get into specifically the trailer music industry. We talk about the process and challenges of making music for trailers and also the amazing community that is within the trailer music industry. It was so interesting learning about him as well and his story of being born in South Korea and then moving to South Africa. I cant wait to see what the future holds for this guy and so honored he took the time to let me hear his story. Thanks for your support! Enjoy the episode!
